Trade Show, Thursday, March 2, 2017
Today is the big day we present our idea to investors who are potentially interested in our business. Our set up included a poster displaying our company name with back ground information on our company such as the local businesses who have donated, what our company does and how the raffle works. We also had a link set up to our website and on the table in front of us our raffle ticket sales and a couple copies of our business model canvas printed out for each investor to take with them. One thing our team realized during this presentation was that instead of making this only a non profit business that later on down the road as our company begins to expand, that we would need to start taking a small percentage to set up raffles and campaigns for other companies. The investors thought this would make our company a lot more appealing to them by actually have a net worth behind our company instead of it just being a total non-profit that we would just have to give away instead of selling it to another company one day.

On this day we met with two employees that work at Paw's Animal Shelter in Anderson, SC. She gave us some great tips about what to do to better our business. So not only are we going to continue to hold fundraiser campaigns on campus for the students, but we are also going to offer a Rent a Puppy event as well as a possible raffle in downtown Clemson. They thought we had a great idea and did a great job getting started, but they just reminded us that we need to make sure we get all of the paper work and tax returns filled out to make sure the legal aspects of the raffle and donations are in place. Overall, we had a great Lunch and Learn and we are excited for what is to come with Tigers Lend A Paw.
Tigers Lend a Paw Fundraiser Days on Tuesday March 14 & Thursday March 16, 2017
Our team is dedicating March 14th and 16th to raise money for Anderson County P.A.W.S. The fundraiser will take place on Clemson University's campus between 9am till around 11:30am on Library bridge. Donate just one dollar to play with a puppy and get entered into a raffle to win some of our great prizes. Donate $5 to get 10 raffle tickets and a higher chance to win one of our great prizes. Some of our prizes include (but not limited to): TD's gift card, Blue Heron gift card, Outback Steakhouse gift card, Petsmart pet bed. Mark your calendars and come out to support our tigers!!!
Donation From Blue Heron Restaurant and Sushi Bar - March 17,2017
Today, Blue Heron donated a $50 gift card to be raffled off to a lucky winner. Their donation was delayed because we had to wait on a tax return sheet from Anderson County Paws.
Donation From Outback and Petsmart - February 2, 2017
Today, Outback and Petsmart donated a $50 gift card and pet supplies to be raffled off for charity. We asked other restaurants if they were able to donate and they said they were not and would need a tax return sheet. We emailed Dr. Sanders, from Anderson County PAWS, about this information, and we are currently waiting for a response.

Today we pitched our businesses concept to Dr. Sanders at Anderson County PAWS. We discussed our goal of marketing their services and raising money for their organization through a raffle drawing. She discussed the need of volunteers, adoption homes, and fostering programs.
Inclimate Weather - Thursday, March 16, 2017
Unfortunately we had to cancel our library bridge event today due to poor weather conditions. Instead of selling on library bridge, we sold raffle tickets to our class and informed the class of our progress. As a team, we adjusted well and were able to stay on track with our semester goals.

Donation From TD's Restaurant Downtown Clemson - February 18, 2017
Today, our team walked around downtown Clemson informing local businesses and restaurants about our organization and how we raise money for charities. A lot of the businesses said they would love to donate but needed some form of tax return sheet. One other issue we ran into was not being able to directly talk to the manager due to them not being in. We are currently waiting to hear back from some of the restaurants and businesses regarding donations. TD's donated a $10 gift card to be raffled off for charity.
